Biography

Background

Born into one of the so-called Great Houses of Serenno, Renato's upbringing and education revolved largely around shaping the young boy into someone worthy of the title Count. Alongside his siblings, both older (Naadia) and younger (Giovanni), he was educated in diplomacy, etiquette and oration, and also demonstrated a healthy interest in sword-play. Although he is not without humor, it is clear that of the three Demici siblings, Renato most inherited his fathers stalwart disposition, which has in turn given him a great sense of determination and maturity beyond his years.

At the age of twenty three, Renato was diagnosed with the lethal Knowt's Disease and given an estimated seven years to live. Though urged by those around him to live out the rest of his life in luxury, spending his inheritance on travelling and indulging in the pleasures the galaxy had to offer, the young Count's conscience could not abide such a decision. Instead, he vowed to spend the rest of his life embodying this selfless proclamation by his great uncle, the once venerable Count Dooku: "The Counts of Serenno do not complain or cry. We are born to take care of others."

She originally arrived at SWFans in late 2000 under the name Vega Van-Derveld, having followed roleplayer Big Bad Naga from a Final Fantasy ezboard where they were both members.
