| Lorenza was born the only child of Gorlan and Sazara Dalenak on Llord. The Dalenak family was very loyal to the Empire; but Lorenza felt at odds with the culture from a young age. She realized she was Force sensitive as a child, when she easily picked up on people's moods and was very in tune with her environment. She kept that hidden from everyone, for she knew that Force users weren't welcome. Even by the time the Imperial Knights could be an option, she hated the idea of joining any sort of rigid organization.
She applied to the Imperial Academy per her parents' request when a teenager; but she failed on purpose, instead enrolling for a few years at a local military school, where she learn to fly ships and combat techniques. She dropped out after two years, and at age twenty, she disappeared.
While she knew this was for the best, she felt that she betrayed her family to a degree, and didn't live up to her potential. She drifted across the galaxy for a while, unsure of what to do with her talents.
She eventually found shelter on Kiffu, where she was able to work at the Great Building, often transporting off world goods, and helping with tech maintenance. While she didn't find a way to train in the ways of the Force, she found new appreciation for such pursuits by observing certain Kiffars. She also developed deep admiration and fondness for the Truth Seeker, Ad'ana Saesrin, even though they mostly interacted from afar, for Lorenza never felt worthy of seeking to be close to the divine guide.
When the Truth Seeker one day invited her to be her guest for a large and well-loved festival on the planet, Lorenza was not only pleasantly surprised, if not quite shocked. The festivities made her realize that she was maybe worthy of finding her place at the temple, and following that she sought some guidance from experienced Kiffars, so she was an easier presence to the Truth Seeker, and also got to interact with the locals more and befriend a few of them in between her regular travels.
Lorenza commonly travels aboard her Barloz-class Medium Freighter Peregrina.
She is a distant cousin of Sebarek Veros and his quadruplet sisters.
