The Holiday Towers is a hotel and casino owned and operated by Arriana Rezner, on behalf of Black Sun.
Well-appointed, but lacking the luxury of the Cumulus or the scope of Trest, Holiday Towers has seen many owners, including Jabba Desilijic Tiure and Lando Calrissian. Following the latter's death at the Battle of Endor, ownership passed to Black Nebula - a crime syndicate splintered from Black Sun by former Vigo Sorsha Kasajian - before being absorbed back into Black Sun's criminal enterprise.
Holiday Towers offers a very affordable and human-friendly environment, making it a popular place to visit for Imperial soldiers and officials stationed on Cloud City. As well as boasting a number of bars and night-clubs, the casino hosts all manners of gambling, and provides a front for owner Arriana Rezner's continued involvement in Black Sun smuggling enterprises, which operate beneath the noses (and sometimes with the assistance of) the occupying Imperial forces.
History
Holiday Towers was originally founded by Opun Mcgrrrr - the leader of the Black Hole Pirates - using his criminal proceeds. In 1 BBY however, a bloody underworld war between Black Hole and Jabba the Hutt resulted in the latter seizing control of the Holiday Towers. He retained it only for a few years: the casino was seized by the Cloud City administration shortly before the Battle of Endor, and after the death of Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian it was run by an interim manager appointed by the Imperial Garrison, before finding it's way into the hands of Sorsha Kasajian's Black Nebula, during their separation from Black Sun.
After Black Nebula disbanded in 8 ABY, the casino's manager Arriana Rezner retained control of the Holiday Towers, eventually striking a deal with Black Sun to rejoin the Syndicate and act as one of it's Lieutenants on Cloud City.
Miscellany
Blue Petal Bar
A bar located on a floating platform in the main courtyard of the Holiday Towers. It has a reputation as one of the best cocktail venues on Cloud City, and hosted a number of obscure musicians to cultivate a somewhat exclusive air.
Ison Lounge
The main bar and lounge of the Holiday Towers, spread over several stories. It offers food and drink, as well as a few scattered table gambling opportunities, offering patrons a place to escape from the main casino floor. Until 10 ABY, the lounge was run by Atton Kira, but he left when the Holiday Towers transitioned back to Black Sun ownership.
