The Korri Star Galleon is the mainstay starship of the Cizerack Trade Navy, representing both the military might under the Pride Mother and the economic might of the Baroness Oligarchy that dominates industry and trade within the Carshoulis Cluster. Often in command of battle groups or trade convoys, they can be found in the company of Seeva or Seeva'fei frigates. Designed both for deep space combat and long distance trade voyages, Korri Galleons represent the Pride in star systems far abroad, and also stand ready to defend the Carshoulis Cluster from aggression.

Design
The engines of a Korri Galleon are arrayed on three extended wings, separate from the main body of the starship. The forward hull is reserved for the massive cargo bays designed to ferry priority cargo. Along the main body of the craft, the defensive armament is arrayed to provide a wide field of fire. The Gorroka Particle Cannons align at the port and starboard wings on turret superstructures, while the Galleon's conning tower rises from the aft section of the hull to offer a commanding view of the dorsal hull.
History
The Korri-class has represented the Cizerack Trade Navy as its de-facto ship of the line for the past 75 years. The Star Galleon standardized what previously was a hodge-podge of up-armored and armed heavy bulk freighters designed to guard valuable shipments beyond the Carshoulis cluster. In the final years of the Old Republic, the trade oligarchs of the Pride realized the decaying Republic could not be trusted to enforce security on the expanses of the Hydian Way that were under their control, therefore a nationalized effort was put forward to develop a homogenous Cizerack naval answer to the problem of rampant piracy and raiding that was all too frequent beyond their home systems. At the same time, the development of the Gorroka Heavy Particle Cannon gave the Huntress Admiralty an excuse to construct a capital ship large enough and capable to mount such a heavy weapon. As the Cizerack Navy was primarily only interested in securing free trade, these vessels were still considered cargo ships first and warships second, although the Korri was equally capable at accomplishing both missions, should the need arise.
With the rise of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the advent of the Clone Wars, the Korri Star Galleons were pushed into direct combat roles against the Republic Navy. While they performed admirably against their Republic cruiser counterparts, the loss of the Cana'darri shipyards and the brutality of the Outer Rim Sieges limited the effect they could have during the war. In the aftermath, the Galactic Empire allowed the Cizerack Pride to retain their remaining contingent of Galleons, on the notion that the Cizerack problem would be handled better if they were treated as trade partners and proxies. It has been a relationship both sides resent, though that hasn't prevented trade from Star Galleons being seen in all corners of the galaxy, even beyond the Hydian Way.
