In-Character

It was Philadelphia, born and raised, where Dwayne Stiles spent most of his days -- ahem. Born in the Southern end of the city, Dwayne grew up with the company of an older brother and two busy, restaurant-running parents. Working for his parents as a waiter from his early teens, Dwayne developed a love of cheese steaks and hogies, and spent much of his time trying to impress the majority of the cheerleading squad in high school. An average student academically, but athletic enough to be picked for the football team, Dwayne competed to a regional standard before being pulled out of the team by his mother, who claimed that she didn't want her baby to 'get hurt'.

A fan of action movies, Dwayne left home as a twenty-year-old thrill-seeker, and joined the Philadelphia Police Department, where he rose steadily thorugh the ranks before taking and passing his detective's exam - it should be noted, on his third attempt. He left Philadeplhia to join the NYPD, having seen and heard reports of the violent crimes committed and wanting to do something about it. He was partnered with John Jackson and the two are currently investigating mutant related crimes and fighting for their equal treatment.

Powers

Dwayne does not have any powers, but his work investigating mutant crimes has led him to believe that the prejudice against mutants is wrong, even though he is not entirely comfortable around them.

Out of Character

Rosie is a lowly pleb, who joined Star Wars Fans in October 2008. She is currently studying for a degree in Law with Criminology, plays the saxophone, and is responsible for writing and directing a number of highly successful local pantomimes.
