Got the 12" Trooper and Dewback!!

Woohoo! I was visiting my grandparents and I made a stop at TRU on the way home and I found one! The store actually had 6 of them out on the shelves. Maybe this "exclusive" isn't going the way the Target 12" Speeder is. Here's hoping.

Congrats! That's exactly the way I found mine. I came back a few days later and the 5 or 6 Dewbacks were gone! We should both consider ourselves lucky. If we'd shown up at our respective TRUs a couple of days later they would have been gone!
So, have you opened the box yet? I still haven't gotten around to it.

Yup, I opened the box. It wasn't in mint condition anyway, so what the heck. The Dewback is huge! It looks pretty funny next to my 12" biker scout and speeder!

there was one at my local tru. sadly $80 bucks was to much for me.

Yeah, I wonder why Target was able to sell the 12" Speeder and Biker Scout for $50, but TRU sold the Dewback for $80?

The dewback is a heavier toy than the speeder, but it still shouldn't have rung up at $80. $60-$70 would have been much more reasonable. But TRU know that if they keep the orders small enough, the collectors will come. I hope these do start collecting dust. It would be nice if some other collectors got lucky and picked them up for half price this X-Mas.

If the Dewbacks dropped down to half price, I would consider getting a couple more. I am happy that I was able to get all 3 12" exclusives, tho. 1 of each is fine with me.

You found Maul with his Speeder already? Lucky bastard! I've been hitting WalMart EVERY morning on my way to work and I've come up empty. I did score a 12" Mace yesterday morning. Gotta love those Jedi Council figures. Well, it's only a matter of time before I find Maul. What did you think of him?

I don't have my 12" Maul w/Speeder in hand yet. I guy who I buy from a lot off eBay offered it to me before he put it up. I didn't feel like haunting Walmart so I took him up on his offer. I should have Maul by the end of the week. I'll be sure and post a review when I get 'em.
