Even after years spent roaming the galaxy aboard her YT ship, Satkia Beltrak had never come to Ossus. It still felt like yesterday that she had left her home world for the first time, not long after her twin sister had passed away, and that she had made the most significant encounter of her whole life, in the person of Natalia Sal-Koron, the Jedi who would open her eyes to a new life and make her the woman she was today.

Fingers danced over the controls as she brought her craft into the planet's atmosphere, her mind still upon the events of the past few months. The twenty eight year old redhead hadn't really settled down for the past decade, because she had been busy exploring new places along with her mentor. The older woman, from Corellian birth, had escaped the purge back in the day, and yet, she had decided to brave the dangers and train that spunky mechanic addict teenager.

A sad smile crossed Satkia's lips as she remembered her master and the friendship they had shared to the point that if asked about her mother, she would more likely name Natalia as such, rather than her birth mother. When the Jedi had begun to regroup again a few years ago, the two of them had heard whispers about it during their travels, but they had agreed to delay their journey there, as they wanted to go further into the unknown regions, which had been a long time dream for the younger Jedi.

It was on some unnamed moon at the fringe of the unknown region that she had buried Natalia a few months ago. A strange illness had taken over the older master but she had kept it hidden from Satkia as long as possible, but death wasn't a merciful one, and they had to accept it as part of life. Despite the sadness and the tears, knowing that Natalia would never see the Jedi Order again, the redhead had stood by her side until the very end. She would always remember that final morning when the Corellian had found the strength to stand up one last time, giving her lightsaber to her pupil during a private and emotional ceremony where she had granted the very rank of master upon the younger redhead.

Satkia had promised to seek out the gathered Jedi, to pledge herself to help them as to respect her mentor's final wish. She had nevertheless stayed one week by the camp on the moon after having buried Natalia. Since then she had traveled without too many pauses, except for provision and refuel, crossing the galaxy again, to finally reach her destination.

Once her ship was safely landed on Ossus, not too far away from where she had felt so much life and signatures in the Force that were a testimony to force user's presence, she went to get prepared. Her garb was more one of a traveler than what remained in one's mind about what Jedi robes were to be, but her leather outfit was a more practical and anonymous kind of fashion. At her belt, both her lightsaber and Natalia's were clipped, while her ginger hair framed her pale face as always.

Leaving her craft, she could see some camp from afar, and knew she had reached her destination. "I wish you could be here, Natalia." Her words had only been a whisper, but she wanted to believe that her mentor could somehow see it even now that she was one with the Force. No matter what would happen next for Satkia, she knew she had to face the will of the Force now, and that was exactly what she was going to do.

Without further hesitation, the petite redhead walked up to the camp, unsure of how she was supposed to introduce herself, nor who she would meet first, but time would tell quick enough...
