Character Background

• Vhiran is a small time crook and con artist. He specialises in "acquisitions" - acquiring difficult-to-obtain items from difficult-to-access places. Some of his work is legal... some of it, not so much. He has recently started working for Emelie Shadowstar's company, Elysian Acquisitions.
• Before Order 66, Vhiran was a Youngling. He does not like to talk about how he survived, and he prefers to avoid using his Force abilities as much as possible.

Raw Material

• Vhiran has a natural talent for Force empathy. After the fall of the Temple he had trouble controlling it, and wound up in a mental institution for most of his teenage years. He has taken to smoking death sticks, which have the side effect of subduing his Force sensitivity, making his life a little more tolerable.
• Not everything Vhiran acquires is under contract: he has an odd collection of assorted trinkets and doodads; some useful, most not.
• Vhiran's ship is the Aurelius, a Barloz-class medium freighter.

Plot Ideas

• Swindling People. Stealing things. The family business.
• Getting up to (probably drunken) shenanigans on Cloud City. Vhiran loves a good card game.
• Vhiran uses deathsticks medicinally - he'll probably need to find a dealer on Cloud City?

Existing Relationships

• Emelie Shadowstar - Fellow "inmate" at the institution. Pulled jobs together for a while about a decade ago until things got "complicated". Recently reunited after all that time... trying to keep their hands off each other long enough to patch things up.

Current Plots

• Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Thief - Vhiran and Xesh are hired to retrieve an item from the vault of a casino on Corellia.
• Stacking the Odds - Vhiran and Xesh are approached for a job by Ryloth Grimhammer.
• Sin & Sorrow - Vhiran and Emelie reunite after nearly a decade. Things get... interesting.

"I'm looking to get a team together for a run, and that Lady Vraska on Jovan pulled yer name out of a hat. Got a black market client who wants industry secrets or some drek. Going to take place in my old backyard; Nar Shaddaa. Not gonna lie. Looks like the kind of run that can easily go sideways. I know I can get us in. That's easy. The hard part is always getting out. Trip just one alarm and it's guns blazin' all the way to the exit. Even then the street are hardly safe. Good thing I know my way around. Grew up over there. The pay it good. Very good. Too good too pass up, and just enough to be suspicious.

"Well see, here's the thing, mate. Starship fuel ain't sold in increments of very good, and my cred account doesn't display in terms of that either. Me and the lady have a certain standard of compensation that we're accustomed to, and we ain't gonna jump into any kind of job if all we've got to go on is vagueries and promises from some bearded mystery whose word don't mean jack to me yet.

Seems like we're gonna have to hash this out face-to-face. Set up a meet. We'll be there."
