Voices OOC
The rules are simple for the choose your own adventure story of Voices.
You may post up what you think should be done next. You'll get pretty much a day for folks to post, since during those times I'll be at work, and when I get home I'll go over the choices and make a decision based on general consensus. After which I will begin to draw what happens next (dictated by what the players have chosen).
Hope you guys make it to the end!

So far this is awesome! Though I couldn't help but think that this could have been a great way to see how the blog function of the site works as a story-telling device; commands could either be given on the forum thread you put up or in the comments of the blog itself; it could clean up the thread so each set of pictures isn't cluttered or separated by a great deal of posts and commands.

This is fantastic! Any excuse to see more of your art is a good one, but I'm really excited to see what you have in mind for this story!

Incidentally, Christin, are you familiar at all with MS Paint Adventures? I know this sort of storytelling exists other places as well, but that's my primary exposure to it... hence the somewhat smartass nature of my suggestions so far and the "retrieve arms" joke... At the outset of these stories, there usually isn't too much for the audience to do other than ask for more exposition. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you have planned!
If you're interested, one thing you can do to show how you're using the audience suggestions is to include them as quotes in your story posts, like so.

I'm vaguely aware of MS Paint Adventures, but never really checked it out. Most of my CYOA experience is from SA. I do like the notion of adding in audience quotes, though.
I've seen a few CYOA's with the multiple choice thing, but I chose not to do that. Perhaps in future ones, but for this first one I felt the nature of the story would be diminished by a multiple choice format

Next section is up
I'll pretty much be doing this during the week, and letting it sit over the weekend. Unless I work Saturdays; then it's game on
