With his friend, the two techs run down a corridor, carrying their loads. The explosions echo down the corridor as they get clear, destination unknown to everyone...
::Rebel and Jedi Boricua plant a bunch of bombs on around the shield generator and make their way out. Rebel detonates some of the charges he placed around the power lines earlier and then they make their way to where DT is::
* An Imperial Guard looks at his commander, waiting for orders.*
Sir a ship that appears to be an Imperial Shuttle has just landed in the landing bay.
CO: Don't just stand there, get out there and see whats inside.
*The Storm Trooper quickly assembles the few guards he has with him, and runs out to the hanger bay. He is startled to see what appears to be a Droid TIE staring at him(OOC these were "built" before I knew about shipbuilding times, research times, ect.) The guard is even more suprized to see the small ship open fire on him, killing one of his men. Meanwhile Firebird1 and K9 head over to a network access jack.*
Firebird1: K9, access the main computer and get as much info as you can. The Drones will provide you cover, then get back to the ship and get ready to take off.
K9: Understood.
:: explosion rocks the base..
DT at the computer sees a flashed up message...
DT : superlaser down! Commence attack!
"Make sure to tell your Jedi not to attack me! I've got a present I need to leave for Thrawn in the Death Star's power core!"
Grendel tapped his backpack as he rushed out of the computer room and made his way towards the core. Along the way he would periodically plant smaller explosives against the walls.
"Thermite at night. Bad guys delight!" :evil:
::Liam who is walking casually through the confused troops and officers feels a ripple in the force beckoning him to a voice or the source. He follows the the path to the voice and reaches a room with a jedi master and a sith. Liam calmly waits there at the entrance of the doorway::

DT : whoever you are, you can help by getting a fast ship ready. I was meaning to steal one... can you help?::
*The Nebulon-B2 Frigates keep to a tight formation, then split off a second before an Imperial squadron is launched, opening fire on the docking bay. The explosion shoots out, engulfing the ill-fated starfighters.*
Grendel rushed down the corridor, and heard the sound of Stormtroopers rushing down the corridor behind him, chasing him.
"Hehehe." Grendel chuckled as he pulled out a detonator and set off the explosives he had previously set. A fireball burst down the hallway, engulfing the Stormtroopers, as Grendel jumped into the lift tube, barely escaping incineration!
Setting the lift to take him down to the Engineering section, Grendel anxiously anticipated the destruction which he would wreak on Thrawn!
*DT recives a message.*
I'd usually leave you Jedi here, but in this case get your people and get to my ship now!!!!
*Firebird1 turns to K9.*

K9: Not much longer................Main Computer Copy and Erase is complete.
Firebird1: Get the ship ready for take off.
::The Jedi start to make their way to Firebird's ship. They meet some stormtrooper resistance and Rebel ignites both his sabers. Rebel deflects some laser bolts back at the troopers and slices a couple droids giving them trouble as Liam does the same::
The Interstellar Imperial TIE's swarms all over the place as the NR X-wing fighter pilots heroically..
Red 3: There's too many of them!
Red Leader: Accelerate to attack speed! Draw their fire away from the cruisers.
Red1: Target is locked, firing laser!
Red2: Watch yourself, Red 1! Three from above!
Red Leader: Red Three, Red One, pull in!
Red2: Got it!
Red3: Three of them coming in, twenty degrees!
Red Leader: Cut to the left! I'll take the leader! They're heading for that Nebulon B frigate.
:: Ogre speaks to Firebird from the crew compartment ::

:: He checks his blasters at his sides and his saber on his hip ::
~ The Jedi Spirit goes ahead, causing confusion in the minds of guards as he protects the techs, making their way to their destination ~
::The group still makes it's way to Firebird and Rebel slashes a couple more droids and jump kicks a trooper into a wall::
Grendel watched the counter as is counted down to zero. The level on which the power core was located. Grendel, though seemingly at peace, was seething within. Thrawn! That piece of filth had threatened to attack The Sith Empire! Now he would PAY! Soon he would destroy Thrawn's precious Death Star! Thrawn! The vengeance of TSE is at hand!
The counter at last reached zero and Grendel stepped out...
...and stood face to face with over 100 Stormtroopers!
SGT: Throw your weapons down and put your hands up! That's an order!
Grendel was INFURIATED! He would not be stopped! Not now! Looking beyond the Stormtroopers he saw his target. The power core! He knew then that he would NOT be stopped! Charging the twin-blades of Soulreaver, Grendel let out a bloodcurdling scream as he charged!
YEEEAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
::The MC-80 Blizzard, Dauntless Cruiser Tornado, CC-9600 Frigate Thunder fires their ion cannons at ship sensors of an Interstellar Imperial SD, leading it away from its blocking position to docking bays at the west end of the Death Star. Opening a path for escape. An isolated TIE wing patrolling the surface of the DS is shot into oblivion by the skillfull pilots of the Rogue Squadron..::
*Firebird1 uses his Lightsaber to fend off the Imperial troops who stupidly chose to attack him, killing many of them. And the felling of anger fell on him, and he was happy.*
Firebird1: Where are they!!!!! I'll kill them if they are late!!!!
K9: <through encripted comm> Shouldn't you be on the ship?
Firebird1: Just get it ready!!!
:: OPens the hatch of Firebird's ship and begins firing on the troopers beginning to swarm the room. He opens a comm to Firebird ::
We had best get out of here soon. There are far too many of these troopers for us to handle.
:: a laserblast hits a ramp strut and send sparks flying through the air, right beside the green sith, as he ducks and returns fire ::
