ST PADD Icons
I was bored today, and so I made some PADD icons. They say things like .GIF and .JPEG, and show various objects. They come in some different styles and colors, too. I'll post some pics soon... (And for those of you keeping track, MY sabre is almost done...I'm waiting for the Super Glue to cure, and I'll mask + paint on sunday; but remember, this will ned a lot of different coats of paint and sealer, so I will be done no later than next Friday.) Yaay! -SSB

They'll be up in a few minutes... As far as turning a .BMP into a .ICO, I just save a properly sized drawing as *.ico, and the computer does it for me. Sometimes I have problems with little holes in the icons, but that's usually solved by changing a color here or there. -SSB

Here we go: These are what I've cooked up so far. The red ones are supposed to be engineering PADDs, the one on the far right is a Voyager PADD, and as far as the organization goes, it's a little hard because of all the funny sizes. It's past 6:30, which means the Super-Glue (AKA Cyanoacrylite to us modeler types) in my sabre has cured, and it needs to be masked before it can be painted. Sooooo close! I'll be at a flea market tomorrow looking for flashes and sabre parts, so wish me luck! -SSB

Re: Also...
I'm a little shy of painting my sabre just yet, we've been having plenty of rain, and the last thing I want is to have a screwed up paint job on my first sabre. -SSB

Re: Also...
I finally got my sabre underway. I painted the 'steel' base coat yesterday, because we finally had some dry weather. I'll be doing more painting today, and I hope to be done on Monday! Wahoo! -SSB

Re: Also...
I did some line detailing on my sabre yesterday, and today I had an accident : it hit the floor. No real damage done, but I'm set back 24 hours while the superglue cures. I had to re-attach the emitter plate. -SSB

Back to icons...
We recently upgraded to the latest QuickTime, and I realized that It had an odd looking icon...like an old 'portable' Mac. I decided to jazz it up some. Stay Tuned. -SSB

iQuick icons...
These are the new iQuickTime icons. They come in a special, limited palatte of my three favorite iMac colors. http://thematrix.acmecity.com/realworld/214/iquick.jpg Please excuse the colors, they are not as vibrant as they should be...JPEG compression, you know?
