    TESTING MY HUGENESS

"I'M HUGE!" And I thought it couldn't be done! Look on my pic, ye mighty, and despair! ...way past bedtime. LOL Grendel, aka "Ozymandias" Not-Very-Bright Lord of the Sith

Yeah, it's a pain, innit? I've minimized it but it still bugs me. Need to learn a little HTML, design a web page, Rule The World... scratch the last one, don't need the aggravation... About the only thing you can do with PhotoPoint is upload a larger version of the pic to your album. The one I'm using now is actually 376x317 pixels (HxW) and then the border shows up at the top. Obviously the dimensions I entered in the preferences are MUCH smaller... I mention this because we had a 1500H Wookie and a 900 Width trooper. That's not just HUGE it's incomprehensible!

I saw the Wookie and the trooper and I still can't stop laughing! I will try what you have suggested a little later. I must now get my Xmas/New Millenniun cards addressed.

<FONT COLOR=FF0000>O.K. All of the cards are in the mail. Now I want to say Happy Holidays on the boards with a cool picture in my signature. Here is the URL. I haven't been able to make a picture appear. Do I need to insert specific symbols or letters in font of or behind the URL? I suppose one could also just open the link.</FONT> http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewP...503&p=14610696

<img src= http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...696&Sequence=2> like that? First you have to use this URL: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...696&Sequence=2 which is slightly different than what you have up there. You also have to use "img src= <A HREF=http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=158764&a=1261503&p=14610696&Sequence=2" >http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?...696&Sequence=2" </A>only with those lesser than/greater than bracket symbols in place of the quotation marks. I'd type them in, but they usually tend to disappear. The board system reads them as HTML markers. (Which is how I got that pic up there.) There is a FAQ you can read about some of this if you go to your login area, click on learn, there's a FAQ in there somewhere... And of course, we make a lovely ad for the Overlords of PhotoPoint, and they are really starting to ride up my butt!

Re: Dealing with ugly white boarder

Holy Cow! This has an even more HUGE white boarder. I am messing it up worse than ever before. I put this picture in my custom signature. Maybe I am missing something super-important at this new photo hosting site. Someone here on the prop board suggested it. Very easy, yes, but LOOK at it? The URL I am using is as follows: http://www.picturebay.com/myimage/3/...35969501-1.jpg

Re: Dealing with ugly white boarder

O.K. Now what happened? I put in a larger picture, but now I have an "I 'heart' picturebay.com?" in my picture. I didn't really want that. The www.photopoint.com thing isn't quite as obnoxious. But then wait a minute, is this whole picture thing getting a little out of hand? All I want is a small tasteful picture of me or my costume that is some-what recognisable.... this is the new URL: http://www.picturebay.com/myimage/18...48412474-1.jpg I think I will put this into the HUGE thread over on props too to see if anyone is awake or if anyone can help...

get an account at angelfire or geocities. Then you can upload pics and show them without the ugly white borders
