when was the title released for TPM?

how long before the actual release of the film was it made public? does anyone remember? just posting so that we may get an idea of when to expect a similar release for episode 2.

i looked thru some archives and found that it was released in early november '98. that would put it 6 1/2 months before the release of the movie itself. so if lucasfilm follows the same patter, then we can expect a release in november of 2001...about a year and a half from now.

we're talking about when lucasfilm released the actual title of TPM, so that we can maybe get an idea of when to expect them to tell us what the name of episode 2 will be.
