I got my car back! It still needs the Union Jack put on the roof, and one window tinted, but it looks brand new, now!
And from the back:
And something I've been waiting to do for ages!

Aaaaaah I am envious.
Thomas why do you even
less of a loafer and more of a loaf, I guess.
Now, for some Brewfest pics!
The sample glass. Instead of getting a pint at each kiosk, you get like two-to-four ounces of beer (depending on how cool you are or something). Sounds silly until you realize that you're trying dozens upon dozens of beers over a four hour event, and you really don't want to ruin yourself here.
Me slamming something, probably a Yellowhammer beer, who incidentally were the Badasses of the Year. An Alabama brewery coming out of nowhere to make some amazing things.
Yes this is what it looks like. A keg backpack. Straight to Ale (another Alabama brewery) had a guy running around topping people off with Monkeynaut IPA. I didn't get any because I've already had Monkeynaut, and I know its real good. I saved myself for beers I've never had, and still came away quite nicely.
The pavillion at Sloss Furnaces. Live music goes here and a few brewery kiosks. Usually its packed out with smaller or non-local breweries, but this year they only had a few up there.
Standard historical placard. Sloss Furnaces was a big industry hub in Birmingham in the late 19th century when the city was just getting founded. Also it's haunted or something I don't know.
Straight to Ale's fucking amazing posters. I got one for their Wernher Von Brown Ale, which isn't in the picture. Being that they're a Huntsville brewery (a haven for nerds and nazi rocket engineers) most of their beers have a heavy SCIENCE theme to them.
Avondale Brewery, an upstart Birmingham brewery that got started last year. They brought serious game this year and had great selections. They also had a strawberry beer on tap which is not my thing, and the result was that their kiosk was absolutely swarmed with vagina all night, making the line kind of long. Didn't try everything here, but what I had was good.
Good People. The Home Team. Birmingham's first decent brewery. They didn't bring all that much this year which was kinda disappointing, but they had El Gordo as a regular offering, which was amazing since it's usually a closely guarded special. They also did a wild yeast IPA which was really off the cuff and appley, and I really liked it.
I love the names "Monkeynaut" and "Unobtainium". Fantastic.
The other noteable science / aero related names they have:
Laika
Illudium
Wernher Von Brown
Gorillanaut
Orbiter
Forgot to take a pic of this:
Yo, Europe. Whats up? Oh yeah, not much with me, just chillin' in my polar expedition gear. No big.
It's a wild Liz!!!
Where in the world are you?!
IF you = Liz

Garden tour... Pretty flowers and tall vegetables >_>
I can definitely tell we look at pictures of each other on facebook a lot. This thread is so dusty!
Old picture of Taylor, when he was a tiny kitty. I believe that Christin will remember him looking like this!
oh what a tangled web I weave
My webcam sucks so you can't really tell but I'm now a red-haired pixie-ish haircut gal.
Also my adorable nephew Cohen is trying to cheer me up while I mope over Rhys having left last night. Pajama party in the kitchen, yo, with breakfast pregos! Ou baas!
Ok, now we need a picture with much better lighting so we can appreciate the red! The cut is super cute.
I'm also going to be doing a haircut and color change hopefully within the month.
YEAHHHH LIVERPOOL! Uncle Kinte, Kenani, and Moi, cheering our boyos on in their victory over Tottenham!
Didnt end well for the driver involved
