10 Year Board-a-versary Coming Soon!

As some of you may be aware, in 2009 SW-Fans.Net will be having its ten year anniversary.

(In internet years I think that makes us like fifty years old.

)

In 2009 the staff is planning a few board events and other surprises, but we'd also like to have a big board get-together in 2009. There were a few ideas thrown about, but generally we think that centering our SW-Fans Meet around a comic convention is a good idea. So!

Pick which ones you'd be most likely able to go to in 2009 - you may vote for more than one Con if you could theoretically go to either/or.

Choices:
Comic-Con International (San Diego, CA) July
Dragon*Con (Atlanta, GA) End of August
Wizard World Chicago (Chicago, IL) Mid August

Then all you need to do is start saving your money! More details will be hashed out and finalized as the time draws nearer!

Atlanta is the only realistic chance of me going anywhere. Besides which, I've been wanting to go to Dragon Con for a while.

Hey, what do you know... I just discovered that Atlanta is a sister city to Newcastle, where I live. I feel like I should vote for Atlanta now :mneh

Yes. Vote for Atlanta. All manner of awesome is in Atlanta, because they both start with "A". Plus I live an hour away from it, and if I'm awesome, and Atlanta's awesome, then therefore experiencing us both at the same time will be enough awesome to explode lesser people's heads.

I'd have to go with San Diego, because it's the closest and I don't want to fork up half of my inheritance to fly over to the other side of the continent. Well, actually, I really don't care, because it'd be fun to go to any event as those listed above. The hard part would be swinging my boss to let me take the time off. I got monies now

You don't know my bosses.... They're red vests of command are painted with the blood of infants and failed employees. Of course, in two years time, I could be the big shot calling the shots, and time off becomes ever harder when your in the middle of the top. Assassination might be in order to speed things up.
