Dizzy and Jedieb, your picks are a bit ambiguous. I assume Dizzy means Minnesota and Jedieb means Dallas.

I fixed mine, yes, I meant Dallas. Got back late from the gym, missed most of the 1st quarter but now I'm in NFL Sunday Ticket heaven. KC just went up 17-0. Pity the poor misguided Niners fans who went with SF today.

Cowboys and Chiefs had a good start, the other games are close so far.

Edit: Holy crap! Vick just got intercepted for 100 yards. Shame Cardinals look horrible, and Warner throws the ball like he is drunk.

Edit 2: Woah! Jets in the lead against the Colt! Could they come up with the bomb? Probably not, but you gotta commend them for the effort.

Edit 3: Vanderjagt just missed a 26 yard fieldgoal. Unbelievable.

And the Titans lose a player for stomping on a Cowboys head.

Now that was weird to type..

What an end to the Colts/Jets game!

I'm just about ready to give up on the Dolphins. They look just pathetic. Culcrapper has been a complete and utter bust to this point.

The Chiefs finally woke up. The defense looked great and Huard look better than I thought he could play. Luckily they have the crappy Cardinals next so they should be 2-2 before they play Pittsburgh. They could rebound to have a decent season. Man Miami is being a major bust. How long before they go to Harrington?

The Niners gave them that game on a silver platter.

Arrowhead is also a tough place to play. I think also the Chiefs played great a game. Their defense is looking great. Although, the Niners are still rebuilding and need some more parts.

it was supposed to be buffalo, but it was my mistake so if you give me the vikes I can live with that, I normally just highlight and delete, I must have only got the "at" part instead of highlighting the minnisota part as well

oh well, even with the mistake I would still be 5-3

two great games on, the Washington-Jax game especially. That one is going to OT. Detriot is trying to hang on for their first win and Cleveland looks to do the same.

game over in Washington what a play by Moss.

Today was another example of why the Ravens are probably headed to the AFC championship game with Steve McNair as their QB. With the inept Boller at the helm they'd be lucky to be 2-2 right now, but with McNair they're undefeated because they now have a former MVP at the most critical position on the field.

The ending to the Colts game was amazing. Manning just kept battling back and tearing up the Jets D late in the game.

What the hell has gotten into the Redskins gatorade? That was just any defense they put 36 points on, it was a Jags defense that looked like one of the best in the league the first 3 weeks of the season.

Arrowhead is a tough place to play, I don't think they get enough credit for being one of the toughest places to play in the entire nfl (denver is up there too).

The last time the road team won in the KC/Denver rivalry was 2002 when the Broncos swept the chiefs.

2006- So far Denver has won their home game, they play in KC for the first ever night thanksgiving game in week 12 on November 23rd
2005- Split their games, home team won both times
2004- Split their games, home team won both times
2003- Split their games, home team won both times
    2002- Denver won both games
2001- Split their games, home team won both times
    2000- Chiefs won both games
    1999- Chiefs won both games
    1998- Denver won both games
1997- Split their games, home team won both times
1996- Split their games, home team won both times

so in 6 of the last 10 years the home teams have held court, and the 2 teams have gone exactly 10-10 (denver is now up 11-10 with their home win this year)

the last time they had a split series where the road teams were victorious was 1994
    1995- Chiefs won both games
1994- Split their games, road teams won both times
1993- Split their games, home team won both times
1992- Split their games, home team won both times
    1991- Denver won both games
1990- Split their games, home team won both times
    1989- Denver won both games
1988- Split their games, home team won both times
    1987- Denver won both games
1986- Split their games, home team won both times

looking at the next decade the teams split again 6 out of 10 years and the road teams held court only once in 20 years 1994, Denver did better going 12-8 over that span including the 3 superbowl trips of the 1980's

Denver at home in 20 years vs the chiefs 16-4
KC at home in 20 years vs the Broncos 14-6

thats a stat of arrowhead against 2 teams that almost every year have a pretty good team that could make the playoffs

Arrowhead is a tough place to play. I would say its the second toughest stadium to play in. (I think Seattle has the best homefield now).
