RIP AIM

Ok so it hasn't disappeared yet, but it will in a couple of months. I admit I haven't used it in years but still remember some of the conversations I had with many of you guys way back then so a bit sad to see it finally go.

Some fun memories:
* Learning how to text
* Learning how to chat with people you didn't really know (and possibly more than just chat ... )
* That door closing sound when someone left (did I say something bad?)
* That door opening sound when someone arrived (oh shit it's them I'm not really online I swear!)
* Embarrassing screen names
* Setting an Away message

I haven't used AIM since 2004 or so. I honestly didn't know it was still operational until I got the notice that it was shutting down. I am reminiscing on those same memories, now.
