    Very nice!

I can't wait for the day when I can finally get all my stuff out of hibernation on into a room of its own!

Looks great LD! I've been working on my room for the last month or so. It's amazing how much stuff we've all accumulated, huh? I've got shelf space set aside and waiting for 4/2. Man, I can't wait for this weekend!

I've got everything ready for tomorrow night. Here's a link to what my SW Room looks like right now.

    And the centerpiece....

If you're in SW Virginia and want to drop on by and shoot some pool, just let me know.

The best part is I got that 20th Anniversary Prime at Target on clearance for only $17! My son has a bunch of the new Transformers, but nothing comes close to G1 figures.

Eb worked like a dog to get that room looking as sweet as it does. Nice work! How much more space do you estimate is left to continue filling it up?

I've got shelf space cleared up for the ROTS figures I'm getting tonight. I've also got some shelves filled with things I could just as easily box or move around a bit. All those Imperial ships that I've got on Northern wall will probably get hung from the ceiling at some point. Hanging ships really clears up a lot of space and I like the look of it. Eventually, I'm going to start putting up some vintage figures on repro cards on the slanted Eastern wall. It's a work in progress and a great hobby. Great for me, a source of constant pain and embarrassment for the wife.

How will you hang the ships from the ceiling? Will you tie them to strategic spots on the toy or will you drill holes in them??

And what about the repro cards? They can be had?

See the VOTC figures above the Revenge poster? I took some slats of wood and cut a groove into the back of the wood. It's a few mm's wide, just wide enough to slide the card in. Then I nailed the slats into the slanted wall, and slid the cards in. I painted them the same color as the wall to make them blend in. I like this better than using pins. Plus, I needed something that would hold the cards at both the top and the bottom because of the angle of the wall.

There a bunch of sites where you can find scans of vintage cardbacks. What I'm going to do one day is use those scans to make my own vintage repro cardbacks. Then, I'm going to take my vintage figures and mount them on the card and hang them on the wall with those same kind of slats that I used on the VOTC cards. It'll probably be a couple of years before it's done. Now that the prequels are over things will start slowing down so that I can spend more time on things vintage.

Why does that poster have the title "Revenge of the Jedi"?

Sorry JMK, didn't see your question about the ships. I just use good ol' fashioned fishing line and some screw eyes. I just loop the line under a couple of spots and the job is done. It's actually easier if you use at least 2 screw eyes for each vehicle. If you use just one the vehicle has the tendency to spin.

Why does that poster have the title "Revenge of the Jedi"?
The Revenge poster is one of the more notorious in the history of SW posters. They were mailed out by the fan club by mistake. There are a couple of different stories as to how it happened. I DON'T believe the "Lucas changed his mind because Jedi don't seek revenge" version. I believe the story that Lucasfilm was using Revenge as a dummy title to limit bootlegs and a couple of licences jumped the gun early and went with the wrong title. Kenner had some carded figures that had Revenge on them as well. Most genuine Revenge posters are folded. If you're looking at a rolled version it's probably a fake. There's a good chance mine is one of those, but it was s gift from my wife while we were dating so it's gold as far as I'm concerned.
