I've turned up early for Black Friday sales before, but everything is always sold out by the time I make it inside the store.
Thats why you go EARLY
(Yes it sucks, but I'll still do it for the deals you can get)
Last year, I got to Best Buy about an hour before they opened. By the time they let everyone in, there was a line around the block. I was in the store within 2 minutes of them opening and they were still sold out of everything I wanted.
Maybe it's because I live in such a large city.
No, it happens here too. You just gotta know what you want, get in, grab it, and get out.
Don't expect the same level of door-buster goods this year. A lot of retailers took a major hit in the end after last year's Black Friday ad, and many have seriously stepped down their amazing deals in an attempt to actually make money.
I, have to work. Although I finangled it so that I have a short (6 hr) shift at the very end of the day.
I now have 400gb of sweet, sweet storage space.
I woke up at 4:30am and I now have around 260 gb of space, a shiny new 40 pack of dvdrs, two and a half hours of screwing, unscrewing and cursing to gain the knowledge to install a harddrive, a cable that came with the HD that doesn't work, and a dvd burner that isn't plugged in at the moment because I only have one cable.
Overall I'm good.
I wish I'd seen this before, even though I didn't go to target.. A wake-up call would have been cool.
As thousands they grieve as the Black Friday Rule.

I had it call me like an hour after I saw this thread. It wasn't even Vader. It was some guy who sounded nothing like a stormtrooper and some heavy breathing. I was upset.
