Tal Kellison

Tal Kellison is a man that can be summed up in two words: duty and order. He is loyal to a fault to whatever legitimate goverment or power is in charge. First it was the Republic in his youth during the Clone Wars, now it is the Empire against the Rebellion. He is not particularly creative nor quick witted. He is capable, however, of showing remarkable courage if there are regulations in place to map out how courage should be displayed in a given scenario.
Tal is a fan of the finer things in life, such as classical music and art and rare antiquities. He fancies himself a talented musician and vocalist. He is a firm believer in fate after multiple close calls with death.

Biography
Post-Reset
Though never witness to the Clone Wars or any resulting violence himself, he was indoctrinated to support without question the Republic, and later the Empire, by his father, who defined himself by his patriotism. In fact, during the Clone Wars, his home was a “droid free zone,” and his father credited everything good in their lives to “those brave boys in white,” referring to the Clone Troopers. When the Imperial Navy opened its doors to new recruits, he jumped at the chance, even lying about his age so he could enlist two years early. Rising quickly through the ranks thanks to his boot licking skills and ability to pass blame on to other people, he was promoted to the rank of Commander serving upon the VSD Termagant.
During the disastrous Battle of Endor, he was promoted once again - this time after the previous captain had been killed in action. As the new captain of the Termagant, he was tasked with taking part in the search and rescue efforts in the aftermath of the battle.
Kellison continually found himself at odds with the pilots of Shadow Squadron, an elite TIE Interceptor squad based on the Termagant. Their insubordination, along with the stresses of commanding a VSD eventually began to take their toll. Kellison's psyche began to fray at the edges and he was reassigned multiple times, eventually finding himself the captain of a corvette for the Imperial Customs Department, patrolling for smugglers on the Outer Rim.
