The MC85 is the little Brother of the MC120. Built with many of the same systems found in the MC120, the MC85 is Ideal for Fleet Commander. With robust triple redundancy shielding and systems the MC85 can stay in the fight much longer than other vessels of her class. While not as heavily armed or shielded the MC85 retains the fighter capacity of the larger MC120.

Design

The craft boast an "organic" look that is actually unique from vessel to vessel and the hundreds of bumps, bubbles, and blisters conceal powerful armaments, shields, and sensory arrays. There are three examples of the MC-85 in existence, the largest of the sixteen or so Calamari cruisers. The MC-85 has four hangers, enabling it to carry 120 starfighters and an assortment of shuttles, repair craft, and small cargo vessels with ease. Each Mon Calamari Cruiser is Unique, with artistically-designed hull contours.

History

The Rebel Alliance's premier battlecruiser and flagship, the MC-85 was designed as a galactic commerce and luxury liner by the peaceful, but highly intelligent, Mon Calamari. Many on Mon Calamari mourned the addition of sensor equipment and weapons emplacemants along the normally smooth hulls of the ships they were donating to the noble cause of the Rebellion.
