Description
The Constitution class Star Frigate is a Tempest Engineering Works modification of an EF-76 Nebulon-B Frigate for commerce raiding activities. The central spine has been expanded and rebuilt into a hangar to house shuttles, blastboats, and quarters for additional soldiers. In addition, the propulsion has been revamped, with the seven smaller sublight engines being replaced by three larger, more efficent models for an increase in speed. The armament is designed to fight off Imperial escort ships and disable enemy transports for capture, including a torpedo launcher that can use both ion and magnetic pulse torpedoes in addition to proton types. Finally, a small spire has been added to the topside to facilitate additional weaponry.
