Built by the Techno Union Engineers to break the blockade of Foeroost, the Bulwark Battleship, also known as the Bulwark Mk I Battle Cruiser, was one of the most powerful vessels of her time. After breaking the siege on Foeroost, Dua Ningo took the fight to the Republic laying waste to any thing he faced. Hoping to put an end to Ningo's campaign, the Republic authorized the launch of the new Victory-class Star Destroyers six months before their scheduled introduction. These ships engaged in a series of hit and run battles which finally ended in the Anaxes system with the destruction of the Bulwark fleet and Dua Ningo's death.
Design
The Bulwark Battleship was developed and produced by the Techno Union at the Foerost Shipyards prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars. It was armed with turbolasers and ion cannons, and possessed armor that enabled it to ram smaller starships while taking no damage.
History
The Bulwark Battleship was a thousand-meter long warship star cruiser developed and produced by the Techno Union at the Foerost Shipyards in the Clone Wars era. Most of these ships were destroyed in the battle with Republic forces in the Anaxes system. Very few remain active, and are now mostly used as heavy freighters. A few vessels have been salvaged from the wreckage around Anaxes and recommissioned.
