BIOGRAPHY
Evelyn was born on Nubia to an upper-middle class family. Her father worked as a supervisor in one of the planet's many manufacturing plants, and her mother tended to Evelyn and her younger sister at home. From childhood, Evelyn demonstrated an affinity for sports, playing on local grav-ball teams up to her late teens. Unbeknownst to her, her quick reflexes and ability to predict the flow of play before it happened were rooted in her Force sensitivity. Bright but uninterested in manufacturing or farming, she decided to join the Imperial Army as a logistics officer. Her decision was driven less by patriotic fervor, and more of a desire for order and the close bonds she'd experienced with teammates in the past. Orderly, detail-oriented and thorough, Evelyn excelled at company-grade positions, but struggled with delegating control to her subordinates.

While serving in the Imperial Army, Evelyn met Vier, a cargo ship pilot. The two quickly hit it off while stationed on Coruscant, and Evelyn quietly marveled at how this handsome, witty, and goofy man seemed to be interested in her. It became readily apparent that the feelings were more than mere interest, and a year later, Vier proposed marriage. Evelyn happily accepted, and decided not to renew her service contract with the GAR. With an honorable discharge, several logistics-oriented employment opportunities on Coruscant, and an upcoming wedding, it felt like a dream come true.

The dream ended abruptly one morning when the couple was headed to out to breakfast. Evelyn sensed something wrong, but failed to react quickly enough to prevent Vier from taking a stray blaster bolt to the chest. His killer, an unidentified thug on a speeder, didn't even slow down as he swooped past them in pursuit of his actual target, a rival gang member. There was no rhyme or reason for Vier's death, and the raw intensity of the emotions that engulfed her opened Evelyn to the Force in a new and painful way. As she knelt over Vier's motionless form with a cry of rage and pain, a pulse of Force energy cracked a few nearby windows.

The next few days were a blur of emotion and loss. Cruelly, when all she wanted was the bliss of numbness, the intensity of her emotions only stirred the Force inside her, manifesting as an empathic sense that brought the emotions of Vier's commanding officer and family into an already-swirling vortex. Evelyn lacked the training or awareness to understand what was happening, and in order to escape the crushing sense of grief, anger, and confusion, she turned to Coruscant's plethora of bars. Never a big drinker in the past, now she worked with a panicked air to drown the pain, caring little for the passage of time. Her future had literally died at her feet, and the young human found herself lost, adrift without purpose or direction.

PERSONALITY
Prior to her fiance's death, Evelyn was a fairly easy-going and optimistic young woman. Her strengths lay in her drive for achievement and dedication to her goals, whether it was improving as a grav-ball player, or pulling miracles out of her ass to meet the requirements of commanders who seemed to believe that logistical support occurred through a mixture of wishes and fairy dust. Her sense of order allows her to rapidly organize, analyze, and execute tasks in a highly efficient manner.

However, that same desire to achieve often manifests as a strong need to please others, creating the potential for manipulation. Additionally, as a perfectionist, Evelyn struggles with control issues. When she is not part of a tightly-knit group or close bond, she struggles to define herself and find her footing as an individual.

Vier's death was such a catastrophic event for Evelyn that it is likely to cause significant shifts in her personality and ability to handle conflict and face adversity. The extent of these changes remains to be seen.

SKILLS
Force-sensitive but untrained and unaware of her potential, Evelyn displays an extremely rudimentary level of empathic ability, and weak telekinesis during heightened emotional states. However, she is completely unable to control these actions (at present).

Gifted with natural athleticism that's slightly enhanced by her Force sensitivity, Evelyn excelled in the Imperial Army's basic officer course, which involved learning skills such as basic marksmanship, an introduction to combat arts, and squad-level tactics. However, her military specialty was as a logistician, not as an infantry or artillery officer. She has specialized training in a variety of areas, including embarkation, supply, maintenance management, and general combat service support.
