Character Background
- Wally is originally from Keystone City, Kansas (home of the original Flash). A huge Flash fanboy, he managed to recreate parts of the accidents that gave Jay Garrick and Barry Allen their speed, and (almost) successfully gave himself access to the Speed Force. He is not quite as fast as either Flash - yet?
- Wally has been the sidekick of Barry Allen ("Kid Flash") for several years, patrolling Keystone and Central City.
- Wally is in Gotham because of a Wayne Foundation scholarship, and hopes to apply to Gotham University early to study physics.
Raw Material
- Now that he is living in Gotham he is trying to make a name for himself outside of Barry's shadow (sort of). Wally keeps trying to get people to call him Impulse, but everyone still insists on calling him Kid Flash.
- Wally's new costume is similar (but cooler, in his opinion) to Barry Allen's, but with some modifications and tweaks to better suit Gotham.
- Wally is a dork, and is terrible with the ladies. If you are female, odds are he will flirt with you - badly.
- Wally has never met the original Flash, but is a huge fanboy of him. He has a replica of the hat in his dorm.
Plot Ideas
- Wally wants to prove himself as a hero in his own right, and earn respect for his skills. The more heroes he teams up with and the more criminals he helps to arrest/apprehend, the closer to that goal he will get.
- Wally is the ultimate friendzoned best friend. If you have a female character of high school (ish) age, he will want to be friends with you. Hopefully he will have a cloud of women around him at all times, absolutely none of whom are interested in him in any kind of romantic way.
- Connor Kent and Wally West: Super Best Friends.
Existing Relationships
- Jay Garrick - 1940s/50s Flash. Wally and he have never met, but Wally idolises him.
- Barry Allen - Wally's mentor; he was Barry's sidekick for several years.
- Linda Park - A girl back in Kansas that Wally had an enormous crush on.
- Linda Danvers - A cute girl that Wally has befriended. Turns out she's Supeman's cousin. Awkward...
- Megan Morse - A cute girl that Wally has befriended. He has no idea (yet) she is a Martian.
- Connor Kent - Wally's best friend, though Connor doesn't realise it yet. Unaware of his complex parentage.
Current Plots
- A Gentleman and a Scholarship - Wally is asked to show new student Connor Kent around Brentwood Academy. Angels weep, choirs sing, and they become best friends 5ever.
