It's a sin [open]

He could barely contain himself in one spot. It was the first time in weeks that he could walk around without having to blend in, stick to the shadows, or wear some clever disguise designed by yours truly. Indeed, he had been slapped down on one of those horrid lists and everyone that was anyone virtuous or kind was out to get him. But that planet was far behind him now. He was surrounded by the walls of Iziz and he was sure it would keep the goodies at bay as it surely did beasts of old and new.

One might ask, why Onderon? Then he would have to answer that it was rumored to have quite the nightlife - which was the only way Laurent Delinore knew how to live. Of course, he had brought his new friend along for the ride, so not to be lonely - but he had wandered off somewhere for the moment, thus allowing Laurent some gawk time. The creepy feel, the darkened streets. Why, he felt at home already.

Traipsing deeper into the city - the long, heavy parcel strapped to his back making several metallic 'clanks' as he went, he observed his surroundings with a keen, silvery eye. Xanatos and he would need a place to crash and tumble, he thought with a grin, and some new friends to put in a good word with the Queenie. No point in getting frisked roughly by the nobles of yet another planet.

The streets were dark, lonely and cold here. Quite a change from the hustle of his last home. He'd wandered off from Laurent to look around a bit, familiarize himself with the city - learn it's ins and outs. He leaned against a shattered wall and lit up a death stick.

It was funny - the streets here, the city, it all looked almost familiar - but he couldn't place his finger on it. Then again, he couldn't place his finger on a lot of familiar things these days - didn't recall much from before Laurent pulled him off the streets. Not that those days matter anymore, he reminded himself.

With a stretch and a puff he ran his hands against the wall, taking in the feeling of the cracks and the stone. Its rough touch was quite pleasant. He rubbed the palm of his hand a bit rougher against it and let out a sigh, he'd better go find Laurent - before he gets too lost. He turned and headed back for the direction he'd started from.

Sting saw a man that had hit on one of his lists. "hmmn maybe there is some profit tonight."

Sting followed closely never losing sight of the man. He walked around looking like a tourist. Using his scanner he finnally got a lock on a retina scan. "Yep its confirmed. Your not worth much but hey beggars can't be choosers.

Sting loaded his Stingers as he nonchalantly followed the guy...

Her suspicions were correct. She was being followed. Most likely by the guard dogs set upon her by DeSang. Ha. Let them follow. She was not about to reveal anything to them this night. She had simply needed to get out from her cage once more. There was a seductive freedom in being able to wander the streets. So the General's little guards could tag along if they wanted to. Maybe she would buy them a drink!

She had come this way before, once. She had found exactly what she had been looking for. A bar, the kind that proper ladies would never dare enter. The kind where people were robbed, or worse. The kind where nobody would be missed if they suddenly disappeared from the streets. She smiled. Razielle had even discovered a few of her own kind. Although she had left before the fight was over, she had no doubts as to who the victor had been.

Blending into the night, she lost the guards, all too easily. She watched them as they walked past her, grumbling about how the General was going to flay them alive for losing her. With a smirk, she headed back the way she had come.

Now.. where was that bar...?

"Yooouu whooo! Sweetums! Where have you gotten to..." His voice decrescendoed upon realizing that there wasn't anyone really interesting wandering around the streets - least of all his handsome companion. Pouting slightly, Laurent reached into his coat and retrieved a black box containing his favorite cigarettes. Extracting a single stem, he placed it between his lips and searched his pockets for a lighter as he continued along the way.

Rounding a corner, his eyes locked upon a rather lovely frame and the cheroot slipped from his mouth. A slew of curses also escaped his lips as he juggled the unlit stem, attempting to keep it from falling to the ground. He succeeded, after much adieu, no doubt the main focus of the woman's curiosity and pity. Offering her a smug smile, he traipsed forward and placed his bent arm against her shoulder.

"Evening, bright eyes. Might you have a light?" He drawled, swaggling his brows at her. He was quite dashing, he knew.

He continued to walk... and walk... and walk... this place was boring now. It was late and too many people were getting off the streets - no one to play with and not a sign of Laurent. "Hey Boss - where'd you go to?" He yelled out once and listened for a reply - nothing.

He growled slightly and frowned, great - getting lost in an unfamiliar city... he turned slightly and cocked his head - lights from a building and people coming in and out. Oh good, he wasn't alone - perhaps he could find someone to play with. He started over to the illuminated building - becoming ever clearer that it was in fact a tavern - even better! Drunk people to play with, they're always fun.

"..." He stopped short of the bar though, his happy grin changing to a slight grimace as his eyes trailed to a red stain on the ground. Something... something familiar here. Something X had experienced before, he leaned down and looked over the stain closely - nearly losing himself in it. Blood.

"Yooouu whooo! Sweetums! Where have you gotten to..."

Wincing a bit at what was apparently supposed to be a singsong tone, Razielle wondered what mood enhancing stimulants the man was on. They stopped just in front of each other in the alley, a stand off. Would he try to rob her? She'd remove his tongue and see how well he could sing after that. In the end though he just tossed a stim around with the skill of a drunk with a wet sliver of soap. She somehow managed not to roll her eyes.

Then he came striding right over to her and waggled his eyebrows, asking for a light. The poor sot clearly didn't know danger, not even when he was brazenly flirting with her.

"Sorry doll, not a big smoker. But there is a bar up ahead. I am sure you can find someone to light your fire, in there?"

"Why don't you come along then? I shall buy you a beer or whatever it is you ladies drink now a-days..." He carried on while he walked toward the mentioned bar. It wasn't like he was addicted to cigarettes or anything. He just needed some good company and it seemed like the best place to wait for his darling companion - whom was lost in the wilds of this dreadful place. The stars only knew what strapping bloke had come along to feast on HIS eye candy. His box of nibbles. He scowled slightly, his mood somewhat soured by the thought, and shoved his way through the double doors leading into the establishment. It seemed to matter little now whether the tootsie followed in suit - but she did seem quite interesting and he needed someone to pass the time with. Perhaps she'd take to his invitation?

Sting was for in the shock of his life. The man ran into of all people the queen's ward. "What the heck?" Sting stared increduously. She looked vastly different from her ward like persona. She walked confident and looked dangerous. As a matter of fact she looked pretty darn tasty he must admit. "Dalamar's going to shite!" he said to himself.

He watched them closely he wouldn't miss what happened next for the world....

He shook his head slightly, rubbing his neck. How long had he been staring at that red stain? Oh well... the mystery of the blood would have to wait. He wanted to play now - and so on, on, on! to the bar. He whistled to himself as he entered and caught sight, just coming in another entrance, Laurent.

Smile ever widening he bounded towards his beloved other half, 'Hey there boss...' he grinned wide and strolled up to him.

She was being watched again. She could feel someone's gaze touching her. It made her blood boil, though she showed no outward sign of recognition.. What could she do though? Have a word with the Queen? Ask her to have Dalamar keep his flunkies off her trail when she prowled the streets looking for the thrill of spilled blood? Oh that would go over just dandy.

Instead of telling the ridiculous, but mildly amusing fellow at her side exactly where he could go, she smiled at him. One of those benevolent smiles that she only gave when she wanted, or needed something. The kind designed to melt. He was going to be her cover.

"Sure. I'd like a drink, as long as you're buying. Lead on."

She quickly walked up and took his arm as they entered the establishment. For all anyone knew, she was with him and so she let them keep their assumptions.

"Hey boss!"

Aha! That must be the elusive "sweetums". She knew the guy. If this bar was the haystack, he was the needle. A force user. She would have to take care not to reveal a single thing to him, or anyone about herself. He already knew her face, maybe even her name. The game just went up a level.

"Hello again, Sweetums."
