―Sasseeri to Olorin in Devil's in the Details

Sasseeri Reeouurra, Black Sun Vigo

Sasseeri Reeouurra is a half-breed Cizerack business woman who rules the Black Sun Empire with all the enthusiasm for personal satisfaction her race is renowned for. A shrewd and ambitious creature, Sasseeri is a flawless design of appetite and acquirement, delightfully embodied in a beautiful feline form. She is beguiling and dominating both at the same time, a combination difficult to refuse once she sets her mind on you.

Over the years, Reeouurra has collected to herself an impressive array of enterprises ranging from smuggling to spice running operations, high-class Casino and pleasure barges to the occasional and necessary bounty collections. She has her manicured claws in a great many pies throughout the galaxy, and is assisted in her efforts by a varied core of loyal lieutenants and underlings.

History

In the years in the late Prince Xizor's death, the infamous Black Sun Organization sparkles at the tear of it's remaining Vigos. The power structure bears the burden of Sasseeri Reeouurra vying against Sorsha Kasajian. Expansion on the organization's expenses have uprooted from Jabba the Hutt's demise and lays even in the Deep Core on Coruscant. Extensive measures continued on between the two heads in hopes of gaining the throne in the most influential organization of the galaxy.

Sorsha Kasajian split away from Black Sun in 6 ABY and formed the organization Black Nebula with her half of the criminal empire. Sasseeri Reeouurra continued to operate what is left of Black Sun until 8 ABY when the two organizations were re-merged under her control after the disappearance of Sorsha Kasajian.

Recent Developments
The most recent incident of note is the "disappearance" of the Black Sun Vigo herself. Apparently a guest of the recently returned Grand Inquisitor Tear, Sasseeri has left the bulk of her empire in the hands of Kal Olorin. Olorin has the dubious task of overseeing the BS daily operations, while also commanded to locate the whereabouts of terrorist, Lilaena De'Ville.

With the assistance of Chir'daki, Olorin undertakes this daunting task, endeavoring to see that his employer's orders are accomplished in a speedy fashion.

After Sasseeri's return to the head of her organization, Black Sun set about absorbing the Black Nebula holdings. Black Nebula Lieutenants were promoted to Vigo and set in charge of their respective areas of expertise, while Sasseeri's Vigo's jockeyed for position. Kal Olorin was promoted to Vigo at this time as well. Black Sun has begun to distribute the spice Rapture for Tear.

Canon History

Late Republic Era

Black Sun existed in some form or another for centuries. Although headquartered on Coruscant, its influence stretched the breadth of the Galaxy. Around 32 BBY the Black Sun was headed by Alexi Garyn, who was killed by Darth Maul on his master's orders. Below the leader of Black Sun were nine Vigos (Old Tionese language for "nephew"). Each Vigo ruled over their own territory and sector.

In the Clone Wars, Black Sun was dealing extensively with the plant bota, which was found on Drongar. Originally, Admiral Tarnese Bleyd was the main contact with Filba the Hutt for the smuggling. He was later assassinated by Kaird, a Nediji, following the death of the former operative Mathal. Another partnership was later established with Thula and Squa Tront to secure the bota. Upon learning that the bota was losing its potency, Kaird escaped from Drongar with a supply as a gift for his Vigos; it was subsequently discovered that the case was filled with explosives, in attempt at betrayal by Thula and Tront.

After The Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star I, Tyber Zann was left in control of a large fleet of Black Sun pirate ships.

Rise of the Empire

During the early days of The Galactic Empire, Black Sun was led by Dal Perhi, though his mantle was soon usurped by a Black Sun Captain named Xizor. The reptilian Falleen crimelord continued to lead Black Sun into the Galactic Civil War. Under Xizor's leadership, Black Sun became so powerful that the Prince was considered by some Coruscant courtiers to be surpassed in power by only Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader.

Rivalry between Vader and Xizor was especially strong due to the fact that, after an accident at a biological weapons laboratory on Xizor's homeworld Falleen, Vader ordered all the Falleens who had been contaminated to be "sterilized" (i.e. they were killed). Xizor also dealt with a rival criminal organization, the Zann Consortium, using them to steal tibanna gas from a mining facility on Bespin owned by the Empire. Tyber Zann, leader of the Zann Consortium, betrayed Xizor by planting evidence that pointed the theft to the Black Sun. When Xizor learned that Luke Skywalker was Vader's son, he decided to kill Skywalker so as to foil Vader's plan to turn Luke to the dark side of the Force and embarrass him in the eyes of the Emperor. However, when Vader learned of the scheme, he made sure Xizor paid with his life.
