    Dragon Squad

Dalamar had sent out the call. All of his new shock troops would arrive soon. He waited in the worse part of the Wild.

Only those worthy of the positions he offered could make it thru the worse parts of the Wild..

Bullet entered seeing that he was the first of the squad to be doing so. He kneeled before Dalamar. ''Sir.'' He walked over to a seat at the middle side of the table just a few from Dalamar. Bullet gave his full attention not only out of respect but out curiousity to what his assignment was to be. He sat unpatiently waiting for the others to arrive.

Nyloh dropped from a low hanging tree a distance away from the clearing that General Devious had called for the rendevous. After his past experiences in the Wilds of Onderon, Nyloh had found that in certain parts it was best to travel not only without a trace but where few to none would bother looking up, or be able to reach.

His power suit indicated movement in the clearing and Nyloh concluded that others had already arrived. He hadn't been ordered to make all due haste so in the light of caution, the scout had taken his time. Some of the beasts out here could rip a man apart with little effort, and they were not a crowd Nyloh intended to attract. He stalked towards the clearing nonetheless; the moment the trees quit making shadows and the moonlight lit the ground, Heat deactivated his stealth field generator, the sound dampner built in his power suit shutting off as well so that he could be heard approaching.

Nyloh's power suit was not built bulky like others. Its intention was to assist in stealth and covert operations as it provided a stealth field generator, sound dampner, scanning gear, and allowing the user to break their limits of dexterity. It did not enhance the strength of the user as many other power suits did, nor was it heavily armored, giving only a minimal protection to melee and ranged weapons. The optical scanner located in the middle of the face plate glowed a brownish orange haze.

Approaching the General of the Onderon forces, Nyloh saluted with a fist to his chest and kneeling, head bowed.

"General, Master Seargent Nyloh Heat reporting."

Devious nodded, "Welcome men, I have called you here to this remote location because one to test you and two.. The harsh enviroment plays havoc on almost all electrical equipment. First Master Seargent Nyloh Heat."

DeSang continued. "Secrecy is of the utmost importance in this Mission. Master Seargent Nyloh Heat your job is not a simple one. I want you to infiltrate the Mandorlorians Insurgents. Make your self one of them thru whatever means necessary. They are out to hurt our Queen and I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!!"

"Find out whatever plans you can find and report back to me."

    "Any Questions?"

Nyloh ignored the General's warnings as standard procedure. Heat was more than aware of what havoc the jungles could cause and his suit, mimicking the setup of the Mandalorians, was protected very well from the hazards of the Wilds. His first few times into this deadly terrain had left him at times in a state of panic as his gear had failed him time and time again. But he had learned from the best, examining and retroinventing the Mandalorian gear that he came across so that he could understand how they traversed the jungle with ease.

"...Master Seargent Nyloh Heat, your job is not a simple one. I want you to infiltrate the Mandalorian Insurgents. Make your self one of them through whatever means necessary. They are out to hurt our Queen and I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!!"

The General was a man of action, not of words. Nyloh understood this trait as he wasn't much for articulating his speech either. But this task was nigh impossible. Infiltrate the Mandalorian insurgents? A mission that would require a whole team, not just one man alone. Heat could accomplish tactical scout missions to a professional degree but an overt mission involving the infiltration of some of the best terrorist cells this side of the galaxy...

"Find out whatever plans you can find and report back to me."

    "Any questions?"

Yes, but one would answer the rest. Still in his kneeled position,

"General, how soon am I to begin?"

Sting watched the gathering with respect. These where the one's that where coming to replace him. He was to help the General assess there skills and talents.

    He listened to Nyloh speak.
"General, how soon am I to begin?"

Dalamar looked to Sting and nodded.

Sting handed Nyloh a profile. "This is your target his name is 'Legion'. I have infiltrated a nearby Mandorlorian faction. I have their full confidence. They have made a deal with a Darth Stratus to bring in this Assassin. Do not take this man lightly, You and I are to rendevous with this individual and when given the order deal with him."

"The General will tell you more before we depart..."

''Excuse me Sir Devious, I do not mean to be interuptive or anything but I am wandering what might my assignment might be.'' Bullet was not to of an unpatient man but the unding wait for his assignment would drive anybody insane.

Darth Stratus? This mission stretched a bit farther out than the Onderon system it seemed. He checked the profile and hissed through his teeth slowly. This thing was made from? And it was bent to destroy what? An abomination in all accounts for sure, but the two missions, the one given by the General and the one given by Sting, the General's long time right hand man, were conflicting.

Interrupting the newcomer who had Nyloh would admit to never have seen before,

"Sir, what exactly are my orders?"

"I see your confusion." The General addressed Nyloh directly. "Sting has already infiltrated the Mandolorians. You will go with him he will introduce you. Then when the time is right he will fade to handle other affairs." The General made sure that he understood then continued. "The Mandolorians have made a compact with a Darth Stratus. Stratus has engaged the services of Legion. He is a killer, but do not think him soft nor stupid. He is clever and highly dangerous."

"Sting has put himself in a position to meet Legion. So already we have a good solid lead on him. You are to accompany Sting meet Legion and keep tabs on him for me. Sting will leave you in his company. Gain his trust and be his affiliate."

The General looked at Bullet impatiently for interupting then back to Nyloh. "Do you understand Master Seargent?"

From the picture Nyloh had seen, soft or stupid were quite a fetch to think for the devil of a being he had caught sight of. That profile hopefully flattered the features of the target. But then again, Madalore's profile had seemed the same way and Nyloh had suffered the consequences for that already.

    "Understood General Devious."

This would be an interesting endeavour. Heat had never actually met Sting, only taken note of the whispers that trickled down from the top.

    "Understood General Devious."

Dalamar nodded, "Bullet, you will accompany me into the courtyard. From there I will give you further instructions. Also, do not interrupt me again. Or you will have a long time to regret your impatience. As it is you are raw and I will overlook it this time." The General paused lost in thought, making sure that he had covered all the bases.

The Queen must be protected. He would not tolerate failure. Finnally he nodded to Sting. There was nothing else for it. He had planned and took all the precautions he could. Now he would see if he could net a demon.

"Onderon is depending on you men, serve your Queen well." With that the General boarded his skip with Bullet in tow behind him. The Death watch guards boarded leaving Sting and Nyloh alone.

Nyloh and Sting had there orders. Sting made haste to act on them. "Follow me. We have much to talk about."

Sting punched some buttons on his stinger and his ship hovered down like a sleek black ghost. The howls of the animals could be heard as they made way for the black ships landing. The wilds where very dangerous. The animals feared very little. Even the noise of machinery very rarely kept them away.

'Whish' The drawbridge lowered. Sting used one of Dalamar's old joke's "Enter of your own free will." he said. The ship's weapons where locked and loaded and Nyloh looked capable. It was going to be a good mission. Soon he would be free to continue his Black Sun activities and Nyloh would take his place...

Bullet looked at Dalamar and talked lightly.''Sorry for my interuption sir. You will not see such a performance from me again. Thank you for your high amount of tollarance on my behalf. Again I apoligize.'' Hopefully Devious would put aside Bullets mistakened act and begin to think more higly of Bullet.

"Very well follow me.." Devious turned on his heels and walked into the Wilds. Bullet followed closely. The General kept quiet and moved rapidly. The growls of the the wilds local animals could be heard all around. Dalamar entered a clearing with three pylons. Death Dealer symbols where on all three. There marking where bright red a bright contrast to the white pillars...

The General spoke to Bullet. "Enter the circle Bullet and we shall have a talk about your assignment."

Heat swiftly followed Sting into the small clearing where the ships had landed. His own ship? How generous of the general.

They both climbed into their respective ships and gradually lifted off. Away from the darkness of the Wilds, away from the cries and the screams of the viscious inhabitants and into the cold, darker silence of the sky.

Nyloh withdrew a cable from a console and attached it to his powersuit, patching his neural network into the ship. He was not an ace pilot and the Queen only knew when he had last flown a frame solo.

"Care to elaborate on the mission, Sting?"

"Well there is not much to tell. We are to meet with Legion. He is coming planetside to kill the Queen. I have infiltrated into the Mandolorian encampment here on Onderon. They are strong and powerful and a quick judge of character. Part of the reason you where chosen is the body armor you use. Mandolorians are big on the use of such equipment. In ways your armor reminds me of an older model that I myself use to use." Nyloh could hear a chuckle over the com.

"Being affiliated with Devious does have its perks. These ships being one of them. Anyway I was told to bring one other that I trust. I will introduce you to the Mandolorians. We will let them grow comfortable with your prescence. Then in 3 weeks when Legion arrives you will just happen to be the one that I 'choose' to go with me."

Stings voice got serious. "Be on your toes for the next 3 weeks. Be friendly to everyone but don't say more than you have to a smart man is a silent one. You speak less then we have to explain less. If asked just say you have flown on bounties with me in the past and leave it like that.." Sting paused "Do you have any questions?"

Infiltrated the Mandolorian encampment? Yeah right, Nyloh had fought enough of the Mandalorians to know that Sting had not "infiltrated" as much as he had been allowed. Mandalore, the leader of the extremely aggressive rebels, planned large scale wars in his head and could almost guess an opponent's mind set from only the most basic of understandings. Mandalore was a legend. General Devious was a legend as well, more so from the rumors that Nyloh had heard in the "shadows". But Sting on the other hand, was not.

The pep talk he gave drove Nyloh into a dip of bad humor. This was why Heat preferred solo missions. Heat wasn't the end all, be all soldier, but other people had a tendency to frag it over and Nyloh hated being responsible for other's mistakes when his life was on the line. Anything involving Mandalorians put your life on the line. Nyloh already had a treasure trove of questions.

"Why are we allowing Legion to even hit planetside?"

Not to mention, it was fortunate that no Mandalorian's had actually traced Nyloh in his past missions. Or else they'd already have one of their blood hunts after him and making friends would be an incredible hardship, even for someone so acclaimed as Sting. And Nyloh was quite aware of the Mandalorian's fondness for power suits. Heat's power suit was modeled with their scout armor in mind.

"And affirmative to the cover story."

"As you know the Mandolorians are a tight knit group. If Devious had not asked me to put you in I would not risk it. They are very smart, I don't like joining with others they always frag it and I hate having to cover for there mistakes. I prefer solo missions then I have only myself to point a finger at." The Com went silent for a moment.

"I mean no offense but this is risky and putting you forward so late in the game is in my assesment, pushing it. But Devious is the leader and it his commands that I follow. The reason that I am allowing Legion to hit planetside is that I don't currently know where he's at. They will give me the coardinate's at the last possible moment. We will be heavily watched and his arrival will be covered by ships and armored escort. They value his prescense and his ability to kill the Queen. Legion is powerful maybe even beyond our skills and talent to kill. Though I think a simple bomb can take care of anyone. Still the Mandolorians do not mean to give anyone that chance." Another pause then Sting continued.

"We have to wait till the heat from his arrival cools. Then at the nearest possible moment inform Devious as to his whereabouts planetside."

    "Any more questions?"

Sting must have had some psychic powers hidden beneath the cheap attitude because he seemed to have spoken exactly what Nyloh had just been thinking.

Otherwise, the Mandalorians were hiding on the moon of Onderon. If Devious could use such nice ships for just these two, should not the Onderon Navy be able to keep Legion from even getting near the moon. The Mandalorian's had been under a blockade for many years. Nyloh didn't see the sense in it, but he was not in charge either so he kept it to himself. And how Sting, being Devious' right hand man, had infiltrated the ranks of the Mandalorians almost made as much sense as the rest of this. This had to be some kind of large scale test.

    "No more questions, lead on."
